I am so excited to talk about this amazing, eco-friendly clothing brand. I was recently introduced to them by a friend who mentioned that they were an Indiana based clothing brand, so naturally, I had to check them out. Liz Alig is a clothing and accessory brand that produces ethnic clothes that give money back to people in third-world countries. They incorporate hand-embroidering, hand-woven fabrics and recycled materials into every piece. It almost sounds too good to be true. The clothes are all unique art pieces and at very reasonable prices-especially with a $15 section. I have hand picked my favorites and compiled them here for you to buy.
So I saw this dress on the website and thought it was interesting- but once I saw the back I was totally hooked. I think this would be a perfect dress to wear with gray tights, tan suede booties, and a red scarf. My favorite part about this dress are the details from the flour sack and you can purchase it here.
This was the first thing that I saw on the Liz Alig website and it is my favorite. I can’t help to think not only how unique these are, but what perfect gifts they would make. The wristlet are the PERFECT size and would be an excellent statement piece.
One of the more inexpensive jewelry items, this cuff looks simple and minimalist alone, but would be the perfect addition to any bracelet stack.
Lastly, from the sale section, this bright colored top is made from recycled tees AND the money goes to giving free education to women.
I hope you enjoyed this post and check out the Liz Alig website.
If you know me, you probably know that I have a slightly weird obsession with fall. And I honestly don’t see how everyone doesn’t! How could you not love the oversized sweaters, beautiful colors, and hot drinks(obviously I’m talking about Pumpkin Spiced Lattes.) I like to dive into my fall clothing much too soon(as evidenced by the 90 degree weather here) and I think a HUGE issue is trying to figure out what to wear in between summer and fall. The stores already have out fall clothes but the weather could be in the 90s! For today’s outfit,I put a fall spin a very summer-y romper that will be perfect for the transition from summer to fall.
As you can see, the romper, which is from Old Navy, is a summer piece. It’s made from a light material and has embroidering on the top.
The shoes and cardigan give the outfit the perfect fall look. The sweater is great for layering, and it’s basic colors allow the shoes to really pop. These shoes are my favorite fall flats. I bought them at Discovery for $6.99 but I do not think they are available online. As with any outfit I have to wear a Ily Mix item! These mirrored sunglasses pull the look together and the cat eye is so flirty and cute. If you use the code ‘minnie20’ , you will get 20% off your order!
Happy fall, y’all!
Today I am so excited to share with you an outfit that I shot a couple days ago! I love every single piece that I’m wearing and its the perfect outfit for getting into the fall spirit, without totally surrendering to the lure of oversized sweaters and blanket scarves.
Here I am wearing one of my absolute favorite necklaces. It’s from Ily mix and if you use the code ‘Minnie20’ you will get 20% off your entire order! They also having some gorgeous choker necklaces, one of which I will be styling for y’all very soon.
As you can see, I cuffed my burgundy jeans to show off my favorite black ballet flats. I am so in love with them and you can buy them from Nordstrom here. The pointy toe makes the outfit look more put together.
I have been obsessed with this shirt since I bought it at the Gap warehouse. It’s an Old Navy top, but the metal buttons and large pocket make it seem like a higher-quality brand such as Madewell.
Unfortunately, I realized half way through the shoot that I left my sleeves cuffed, but I think that they look a lot better rolled up.

On some of the pages, Andrea points out important design elements on items. I also have some really cute necklaces from Forever 21 that I am looking forward to styling in the future! The first is this dainty gold necklace with a leaf charm on it. I think it would look really cute with a slouch gray tee and distressed denim!
The next necklace is my favorite! This long necklace is on a gold chain and has a tusk charm and gold roses on the top. I think it would look best with an oversized burgundy sweater and black leggings.

As summer, truly comes to a close, I always try and cram as many of my summer clothes into my outfits. Here I styled two of my favorite summer pieces including a new jewelry piece! This amazing essential oil necklace is intended to help the scent of whatever essential oil you choose to linger on your clothes throughout the day. I just put two drops of my favorite oil onto the tassel and it stays all day! Tassels were so trendy this summer, that the style can surely be worn into fall. These tassels also come in a variety of colors and metals! My favorite thing to do is get charms on them.
I got these Sperry’s on sale for $24.99 at the Nordstrom anniversary sale!
Kept the jewelry pretty simple on this look. My silver tassel necklace with a starfish charm, and two Alex and Ani bracelets.
